Global AI Center
(GAIC)
Boracay, Philippines
BHBAI, based on Philippine tax guidance and Executive Order No. 86 signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., concludes that the new Philippine Digital Nomad Visa permits tax-exempt work by international AI experts and other professionals, including work performed jointly with Filipino BPO employees for foreign entities, without restricting the location where such collaboration may occur.
Relying on this framework, BHBAI is preparing to launch the Global AI Center (GAIC) in Boracay under Philippine leadership—a shared platform for all BHI500 index enterprises to accelerate enterprise AI deployment while significantly minimizing costs.
Accordingly, BHBAI invites proposals from highly qualified Philippine IT and BPO service providers with proven expertise in enterprise technologies, particularly those capable of supporting advanced integration, deployment, and optimization projects.
Approved partners will be granted the opportunity to operate AI and BPO Support Offices within the Boracay GAIC, delivering dedicated integration services exclusively to BHBAI’s international index enterprises.
To foster collaboration and ensure partner success, BHBAI will host a series of high-level international conferences in Boracay, with participation from CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, AI leads, CPOs, HR leaders, and other executives from BHI500 companies deploying AI systems across global operations.
Scope Of Collaboration
BHBAI welcomes all technologies, services, and support models that enable secure, reliable, and scalable deployment of enterprise-grade AI solutions across the platforms, clouds, and IT systems used by BHI500 enterprises globally.
To ensure full compliance with all applicable digital nomad visa regulations for international talent, no foreign entity will create a permanent establishment in the Philippines in relation to the GAIC. Foreign-controlled BPOs operating independently of the AI Center will not be affected. No services will be rendered to Philippine-based clients and no enterprise in the BHI500 Index is based in the Philippines. Collaboration with Philippine-based firms will be strictly limited to vendor support functions to maintain the tax-exempt status of all international AI talent and professionals working at the GAIC in Boracay under a digital nomad visa.
A partner kickoff conference in Boracay for select Philippine IT and BPO providers is currently in planning. BHBAI invites all interested companies to submit proposals detailing their service capabilities, partnership model, and readiness to deliver enterprise AI value to BHBAI’s global index members.
